The campsite catalogue is built from open government data. These licences require us to say so by name, and we would anyway.

Fire and closure warnings
Warnings come from the state emergency services directly: the NSW Rural Fire Service, Victoria’s Country Fire Authority, the Queensland Fire Department, the Tasmania Fire Service and the ACT Emergency Services Agency. Where we cannot reach a state’s authority, the app says so for that state rather than implying there is nothing to report.
Changes we made
Records were reprojected to plain latitude and longitude, mapped onto our own site categories, and de-duplicated against places already in the catalogue. Names and descriptions are otherwise the publisher’s. Neither government endorses OzCamps or this use of their data.
Corrections
If a site is in the wrong spot, closed, or should not be listed at all, write to support@ozcampsco.com and we will correct it. Access rules, permits and closures are always the land manager’s to set and yours to check.
